I love cards. Ever since I was younger I used to love shopping for cards for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, or any other special occasion. Now that I'm a Mom, I have far less time to spend in the aisles admiring all the different designs and funny messages. I now have just enough time to run into the store, get to the card aisle, and just pick the nicest one I see which usually means it's over $5.
For a card! Like I said I love cards. They can be unique and intricate but they are also expensive, and for what to just be thrown out? What’s the point of giving a card with a gift, or mailing a card for a holiday if there’s no way, at least for a little while, to admire them?
I never want to throw or put away birthday, anniversary, Mother's Day, Father's Day or any holiday cards right away. I like to display them somewhere in my house.
Christmas cards are a whole other issue. My family gets about 25-30 cards every year, usually the flimsy picture cards that are not self-supporting whatsoever. We try different tactics every year to display these Christmas cards. We were hanging them with paper clips on a Christmas decoration we had, then the next year we tried to buy place card holders but the photo cards were so flimsy that they just fell over.
We needed a solution and the Birch Branch Card and Photo Tree Stand was it! Christmas cards – no problem. Large birthday party – no problem. We’re able to display our cards year-round and the stand is just so nice that it adds to the décor in our home. Because it’s offered in weathered gray, whitewash, or rustic brown it really matches any style. And the coolest part is that is comes with three different toppers, so it’s not just a Christmas card holder! When it’s time for birthday cards you take out the present topper. When it Valentine’s Day get out the heart topper. Or, use the heart topper year-round and display photos of the family – your very own family tree.
Yes, this solves our Christmas card problem, but for one product is also offers so many other possibilities with a function and a purpose year-round, year after year.
